Groups and Celebrations in St. Maarten
The hard part of moving twenty people is not the cars. It is that nobody is in charge of it.
What goes wrong with groups
Not the vehicles. The coordination.
A wedding party arrives across two days on eleven different flights, four of which move. Someone in the group becomes the unofficial transport manager and spends their holiday on WhatsApp. On the day itself, six people are still at the villa when the ceremony starts because two cars went to the wrong address.
What we do is take that job. One schedule, one person holding it, one thread you can ask in.
What we run
Weddings. Arrivals, the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony itself, the reception, and departures spread across three days after. See wedding transportation and the guest shuttle for larger parties moving together.
Group trips. A villa full of friends for a week — airport in, beach days, dinners, a night out, airport home. Priced as one package rather than fourteen bookings. See girls' trip package.
Celebrations. Birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette and bachelor nights. Multiple venues, a late return, one driver all evening. See birthday celebration.
Corporate. Executive arrivals, meetings across the island, client dinners, invoiced properly. See corporate chauffeur.
How the schedule gets built
You send us the flight numbers and the rough shape of the days. We come back with a schedule that says who is collected where and when, and what happens if a flight moves.
Then we track the flights. If someone lands two hours late, the car is there two hours late, and nobody in your group has to notice or fix it.
Honest limits
We are a father and son with one nine-seat van. That is the whole proposition and it is also the constraint, so here is what it means in practice.
Up to nine is us, in one vehicle, and it is the case where this works best — everybody moves together and arrives together.
Ten to about twenty means either two runs, which is genuinely fine when the schedule has room, or bringing in a driver we know personally. We will tell you which, and who.
Beyond about twenty we are the wrong firm, and we will say so rather than assemble a fleet of strangers around your wedding and hope. A group transport job done badly is remembered for a very long time, and we would rather lose the booking than be the reason.
Pricing
Per vehicle and per day, quoted as a package for the whole booking. One number, agreed before anything is confirmed, and an invoice at the end.
Send us the dates and the headcount and we will come back with a schedule and a price — not a form asking you to enquire.
Questions people actually ask
How many people can you move?
Nine at a time in our own van. Beyond that we bring in drivers we know personally rather than a dispatch pool, and we tell you we are doing it. For a group much larger than about twenty we will say plainly that we are the wrong firm.
Can you handle arrivals spread across a whole day?
That is most of what a wedding week actually is. Fourteen flights across two days, half of them late. We build the schedule around the flight numbers and track them, so nobody stands outside the terminal wondering.
Do you invoice?
Yes, for group and corporate bookings — one invoice at the end rather than everyone settling separately in a car park.
How far in advance should we book a wedding?
As soon as you have a date and a rough headcount. Not because we will otherwise be full, but because the schedule is where these go wrong, and it is far easier to build early and adjust than to assemble in the last week.
